2016 Book Swap News

Our annual book swap is after school on Friday, September 23 in the multipurpose room (MPR).

How does it work?

  • Round up your gently used books – children’s books (all ages). NO sticker books, activity/coloring books, or magazines.
  • Drop off your gently used books from 8:15-8:45am Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 9/20-23 on the playground. Look for the book drop table.  If you can, bring books in bags or boxes you can leave with us.
  • Come to the MPR on Friday after school to pick out a few “new” books.

All Crocker kids can take home at least one book.  Students who contribute books to the swap can select more (e.g, give 5, take 5).

The book swap works best when we all contribute a few good books. It’s a great opportunity for our kids to give a little and get a lot back – great books and tons of fun!

This year, we’ll be donating leftover books to other OUSD elementary schools and the East Bay Children’s Book Project.
