Pineapples, Pugs, and Pikachus!

Our fourth and fifth graders recently made corner bookmarks with a little help from YouTube and Red Ted Art. The kids worked in pairs to choose a bookmark design, watch an instructional video, then use paper, glue, scissors, and pens to create the bookmarks. Some of the designs were tricky to make, but we figured things out together. The project was good practice working with a partner, following complex directions, making mistakes and adjusting course, and using technology as a creative tool and problem solver. Many of the kids have made more bookmarks and even created their own designs. This is a fun project to share with a friend or try with your family. Give it a try!
